| Women traveling without men. Back | |||
| In recently years I've meet quite a few women who were on their own in foreign countries. Something you saw very little of in the 60's - the early 90's. I give these women a lot of credit, they are living life to it's fullest not letting the fact that they can't find a travel partner stop them from going where they want to go. | |||
| The first Time I went anywhere alone, a friend backed out of a trip we had planned to the Florida Keys. We had installed a trailer hitch on his car so we could trailer my boat (At that time I had a17' dive boat, I wasn't sailing yet.) So I told him if after all the arrangements were made, he wasn't going, his car was & we exchanged cars for two weeks & I drove down to the keys, alone. I ended up having a great time and have traveled alone a lot since then. | |||
