I just heard on Anderson Cooper 360 that we (The U.S.) have taken in less then 500 refugees from Iraq since the start of the war.

People, many of these people are Christians who are in extreme danger because of our overthrow of the Saddam Hussein government and others are people who have risked not only their lives but the lives of family members in order to help us.

I also hear the Republican party and their pundits like Fox News (Fox Lies) asking what would happen to our friends in the case of our pulling out early. They always seem to bring up what happened in Saigon when we left at the end of the Viet Nam war.

Since we will leave someday anyway and since most likely we won't have the victory we desire, shouldn't we be helping these people re-settle now before it's too late?
