Some of the finest stone carvers in the world live on Bali. Most of my carvings come from the village of Batubulan north of Dempasar, the capitol of Bali. This village is known for the quality of the carvings done there. It is also home to three world famous Barong dance troupes, so it's always a pleasure to spend some time doing business in this quaint little village. Next time I get to Batubulan I'll have some photo's of the Barong dance to post on this site.
