Names and addresses of restaurants, home stays, my drivers & Guides. and any other things I can think of to help anyone traveling to Bali or other places I've been recently.

This page will be constantly under construction.

One thing you might want to do is to let the U.S. Government know where you are in case of a natural disaster. This became vividly clear in the Tsunami of 2004. You can give your travel information here.

Americans traveling abroad, for the next few years, if anyone asks, "You voted for Kerry?" and I don't mean this sarcastically. In most countries in the world George Bush is hated & the people in the streets will treat you better if you feel the same way. If you don't believe me just read some foreign papers. If you did vote for Bush, swallow your pride & enjoy your vacation. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is.   Al.        PS. I tried to tell you.

Be Careful of terminology:   What do they mean when they say a three day getaway? (You could arrive Friday night & leave on Sunday morning.) Always ask for the exact schedule. i.e. 11 p.m. Friday - 9.a.m. Sunday. You’ll then know that it’s 1 full day. An evening & a wake up.
